We are working very hard to get Community members to join the celebrations welcoming new Chrysalis Butterflies to the Emmaus Community:

The Boys Flight Candlelight Service will be Saturday, July 12 at 8:00 pm; the Closing on Sunday, July 13 at 3:00 pm.

The Girls Flight Candlelight Service will beSaturday, July 26 at 8:00 pm; the Closing on Sunday, July 27 at 3:00 pm.

All four services will be at the Carson Valley United Methodist Church in Gardnerville, Nevada. This truly is a case of “The more the merrier!!”

We are so excited to finally be having both a Boy’s and a Girl’s Flight!!!  Christ is Counting On Us to Welcome these young people in His name.

NOW!!  Sign up for the Prayer Scroll.  The Boy’s Flight starts in two days!!  Many more names are needed for the Prayer Scroll for both Flights.  Go to www.ncnec.org , click on “Prayer Vigils (wheel and scroll),” follow the prompts and pick one or more times.

A Community Wide Welcoming Gathering will be held August 9th in Truckee.  Everyone will be welcome.  Truckee is likely to be one of the coolest places in California and Nevada in August.  It will be a great getaway, with food (potluck), fellowship, information, music and worship.
